Weekend Dentist

Dr. Damji is the owner and founder of the Artis Dental Centre. His decade-long educational pursuit at the University of British Columbia earned him three degrees: Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology (BSc. 1986), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD, 1992) and Master of Dental Science in Oral Biology (MSc. 1993). He has a fiery passion for educating and treating his patients and is a true clinician at heart! Most recently he has accepted a position as a Clinical Instructor at the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Dentistry where he has the opportunity to share his knowledge and experience mentoring both 3rd and 4th-year undergraduate dental students.

Dr. Charland graduated from the University of Montreal in 1990. She then completed a residency at the University of British Columbia. She has been working at Artis Dental Centre since 2004. She speaks French, English and Spanish. She enjoys the outdoors and loves bird and wildlife photography. Dr. Charland sees patients at our New Westminster location.

Dr. Anuj has provided dental care for over 17 years and worked as Clinical Assistant Professor at DAV dental school under HP University, Shimla, North India. He worked as a Specialist in 2 countries before moving to Canada in 2015. Dr. Bahri sees patients at our New Westminster location.

Cheryl is both our Administrative lead and Accounts Receivable Manager. She has a wealth of dental management experience and a most warm and compassionate demeanor. If there is ever a perplexing question, Cheryl will always have the answer!

Palak is a part of our admin team and has been working in the dental industry for over 6 years. She is always eager to help everyone and always welcomes them with a smile on her face. In her free time, she enjoys cleaning and organizing and playing with her dog, Lyka.

Nidhi is a passionate and skilled senior receptionist with over 10 years of experience in dental administration. She is always willing to help those around her in need. At home, she’s also a full-time mom who loves to spend time with her kids, and enjoys indulging her family in culinary delights.

Stella is a vibrant and energetic French speaking CDA who lives life to her fullest! Stella works with patients at our New Westminster location.

Tracy has been working as a CDA since 2010 and has been with Artis for over 3 years. In her free time she likes watching TV shows, hiking and spending time with her family. She is very soft spoken and always ready to help her patients.

Jen is our very promising and hard working CDA who has been with Artis for almost 3 years and she has been working as a CDA for over 15 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and she loves cooking. She is adored by her patients and she makes sure everyone leaves the office with a smile on their face!

Pindy is our lovely hygienist who brings over 20 years experience to ARTIS. She is loved by all of her patients and staff. She brings a very positive and happy aura to the office! In her free time, she enjoys long walks and spending time with her family and her dog. She also loves yoga and traveling!

Tuan is a very skilled and sought after hygienist that won the award for Best Patient Care when he graduated from Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene. Outside of work he enjoy time with his family, hiking in the summer, & playing badminton and soccer.
