Dr. Mohammad H. Jahan received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Azad University of Tehran in 2016. After gaining valuable clinical experience, he immigrated to Canada in 2018 and quickly became involved in both patient care and academic dentistry.
Since 2021, Dr. Jahangiri has been a clinical instructor at the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Dentistry, where he teaches restorative dentistry and dental ethics. He has also been actively supporting internationally trained dentists since 2019, providing guidance and mentorship for their integration into the Canadian dental system.
Dr. Jahangiri’s professional interests include restorative and aesthetic dentistry, where he combines precision, artistry, and evidence-based care to achieve both healthy function and natural beauty for his patients. He is a proud member of the British Columbia Dental Association (BCDA), the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP), and the American Dental Association (ADA).
Ethics are at the heart of his practice philosophy. Dr. Jahangiri is committed to ensuring that every patient receives the highest quality of care, regardless of their insurance coverage. His patients appreciate his compassionate, comfort-centered approach and his dedication to building lasting relationships based on trust.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Jahangiri enjoys swimming, traveling, and exploring new cultures. His passion for lifelong learning and teaching continues to shape both his clinical work and his academic contributions at UBC.
